Sensitization of over 100 community members on human rights, sex violation and reporting channels
As part of its mission to promote dignity and protection for vulnerable populations, ABLIEWYP organized a robust sensitization program that engaged over 100 community members, including sex workers and people living with HIV.
The sessions focused on creating awareness around basic
- human rights, emphasizing the right to safety,
- freedom from discrimination, and
- access to justice.
Participants were educated on the various forms of sexual and gender-based violence (SGBV), how to recognize them, and how such violations impact their health and well-being.
