Advocacy for the International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women
In commemoration of the International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women, ABLIEWYP spearheaded a powerful advocacy campaign that amplified the voices of sex workers and women living with HIV. The event featured a public walk, dialogue sessions, and storytelling from survivors, all aimed at challenging the culture of silence surrounding gender-based violence (GBV). Messages emphasized that violence against any woman—regardless of her occupation or health status—is a violation of fundamental rights and must be addressed with urgency.
